WeXProfilePrivacy policy
WeXProfile has no server and no analytics. It runs in your browser, talks to Instagram using the session you're already logged into, and keeps its data on your device.
What it stores, and where
The extension saves the following in your browser's local extension storage. It never leaves your device through us, and you can remove it by clearing the history in the popup or uninstalling the extension.

What it sends, and to whom
Requests are made from your browser directly to Instagram (instagram.com) and its image servers (cdninstagram.com, fbcdn.net). They fetch profile data and pictures, run the follower scan, and perform unfollows you select. They use your existing Instagram login, so Instagram sees them as coming from you. Instagram's own privacy policy applies to that traffic.
We don't receive any of it. There is no WeXProfile server, account, or analytics service. We never see your password, and the extension never asks for it.
Fonts and icons in the popup
The popup currently loads its fonts from Google Fonts and its icons from cdnjs.cloudflare.com. Those services can see that a request came from your IP address, as with any web font. No Instagram or profile data is included. We plan to bundle these files into the extension so no third-party request remains. This page will be updated when that ships.

What we don't do
We don't sell, share or transfer user data. We don't use it for advertising, profiling or credit decisions. We don't collect it in the first place.
Your Instagram account
Bulk unfollowing is an automated action on your account. Instagram may limit accounts that act too fast, so keep the speed settings conservative. WeXProfile is not affiliated with or endorsed by Instagram or Meta Platforms, Inc.
